A New Type of Stripe: 3X1’s Fresh Take On Cone Pinto Denim

3X1, the New York City-based custom denim atelier, has blazed a trail and set themselves apart from the rest in the denim and blue jeans world as one of the premier bespoke denim apparel makers. One does not need to make the journey to their denim mecca in the heart of SoHo to nab a pair of truly unique blue jeans and other denim duds, however. 3X1 has recently released two retro-inspired pieces utilizing our very own Cone Pinto Denim. 3X1’s “new type of stripe” feature the “Higher Ground Boyfriend Crop” jeans and “Higher Ground Skirt,” both of which are made from 100% cotton selvage denim woven at Cone’s White Oak Mill. The special Pinto finishing process is applied in fabric form before the garments are cut and sewn, guaranteeing each and every garment comes out truly unique.
